Elaine Hudgens, Receptionist
Elaine greets patients when they arrive for appointments, answers the phones, schedules appointments, and takes care of filing dental insurance claims. She's been in the dental field for over 40 years, and she's a graduate of Mid-State Medical Academy, where she studied dental assisting. Elaine loves interacting with people and being able to juggle many tasks at once at our very busy dental office. She also loves dentistry. In her free time, Elaine enjoys visiting antique stores, gardening, singing in the church choir, and spending time with her family, especially her very active granddaughters.
Lorrie Primm, Registered Dental Hygienist
Lorrie has been in dentistry for over 20 years, and she has a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She appreciates the fact that our practice focuses on the best options for the patient and our relaxed atmosphere. Lorrie loves getting to know people and hearing their stories. She's great at making a connection with patients and building relationships. She's married to her husband Mike, and they have three children. They love to travel, and the beach is their favorite destination.
Brenda Wendt, Certified Dental Assistant
Brenda assists Dr. Goodman while he's treating patients. She's been in dentistry for over 45 years and graduated from Shelbyville Technical School. She also completes 12 hours of continuing education every year. She enjoys helping our patients achieve great health and perfect smiles and also likes staying busy and meeting new patients. Brenda is totally committed to helping patients feel comfortable and happy. She has three horses and enjoys gardening and sewing in her free time. She has a son in Chicago and a daughter and grandson in Alabama.
Michelle Carroll, Registered Dental Assistant
Michelle has been working in dentistry for almost a decade now, first joining Dr. Goodman’s practice in September of 2017. She received her dental education at Remington College and still attends continuing education courses every year. She loves her new work family! Plus, being a “people person” who loves talking to patients and helping them feel comfortable makes her a great fit for the job. She has three kids and enjoys being outside with them, playing golf and softball, fishing, and doing photography in her free time.
Miranda Campbell, Registered Dental Hygienist
Miranda got her start at Goodman Family Dentistry in 2015, and she’s been working in the dental world overall for 10 years now. She earned her undergraduate degree at MTSU and her degree in dental hygiene from TSU. She loves that the office focuses on quality care and forming genuine relationships with patients! Miranda married Matt in 2011 and they have two sons together. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling and being outdoors.
Stacey Springer, Registered Dental Hygienist
Stacey has been working in dentistry for nearly 20 years so far. She studied at Freed-Hardeman University and Northeast Mississippi University. As cliché as it sounds, her love of smiling and making others smile fits this job perfectly! She genuinely cares for her patients, not only on a professional level but a personal one as well. Getting to catch up with them every six months is always a treat. Stacey and her husband Mark live on a small farm in Summertown and have six children, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, two grandchildren, and an Australian Shepherd named Opie.
